I just got out of the hospital because I wasn't on my meds, and thankfully I respond well to Invega or the generic form Paliperidone. My only concern are the possible side effects to these medications. Are they pretty rare some of the more scary ones or are they more common than I might imagine? I've realized I need to take meds though. I've tried numerous times and I would be good for awhile, then I'd revert back to psychosis mode and keep getting worse. I'm just a little concerned about some of the side effects to Invega.

I already experienced one side effect already and it's permanent. It's a rather embarrassing one, but I'm sure you can figure it out from context clues. My concern is if I suffered one, what are the odds I might not experience others in the future? Tho I'm between a rock and a hard place. If I don't take my meds I'll revert back to Mr. Hyde, while on the other hand it seems like I'm playing Russian Roulette. Am I worrying too much because the other side effects are so rare, or are some of my concerns valid? If you have time take a look at possible side effects to Invega. Pretty extensive list, some are actually life threatening. I respond will to Invega though, but I am curious is there anything else out there that works well that doesn't have such crazy side effects?
