I felt even more relief and comfort. I would never want to pretend to be something that I wasn't even though I'm not exactly sure what I am. :-/
I would like to share with my T what you wrote if that is okay. I read the things that both of you wrote and it triggers a memory of my T telling me these same things but I guess I wasn't able to hear or understand her at the time.
