Have you tried lying on your back to see if that helps (that helps my interior sounds; one gets all the outside, night sounds too instead of lying on one's ear and just getting inside sounds).

I have tried sleeping on my back when I first go to bed and it helps a little as I only hear the whistle (from time to time) when I am on my back...... but as I am a side/belly sleeper - I tend to change positions in the middle of the night with out knowing it and then those darn "inside sounds" wake me up...... Grrrrrrr.

I have sinus meds and nasal spray - maybe I need to change my Rx when I see my doctor or add a second one?
