alrightty then i do believe i'm talking to myself (uh oh--schizophrenia)
This drug is pretty odd. I was at my doc who prescribes it last week to get fluids due to dehydration, and I told him i went back to Norco, he said, "you'll have to take a lot of Norco to get the same effect of Suboxone".
Which makes me think:
1) when given it in rehab, I was not told, nor did i ask (docs know it all don't ya know) what this drug was all about.
2) I am finding out that it is a VERY potent drug-yes-sorta like Methadone--maybe stronger-all for cravings only--they say. (Even Kaiser now requires you to come in and take Suboxone under their supervision--hence a Suboxone clinic ffs!!!!!!!!!!!!)
3) Other things can help cravings, I take Norco now when I'm supposed to, I don't abuse it, and i take it for fibroids and endometriosis.
I guess my point is when I detoxed off of it, it was the right thing to do, whenever i take it my chest gets squirrly. I would like to think that I can now, according to the doc, take something that isn't as strong, like the Norco, so I can get Suboxone out of my system.
Suboxone reminds me of a methadone clinic, 5 years from now i really would enjoy hearing what happens to this drug.............
HTH someone who reads rather than posts.
Good day
