The therapist never ignores stuff I say. If I say something dumb, she pretty much immediately jumps on it. Sometimes she'll let it slide for one or two questions, then bam! All of a sudden she's addressing it.

The last really silly thing I remember saying was this. I came in and she said she had to put some eyedrops in her eyes because they were really red or something. I said maybe it was from all the weed she had been smoking. She told me in an exasperated voice that she doesn't smoke weed and that it makes her paranoid.

Later we were talking about some other stuff, and I said something about how sometimes things just come out of my mouth. She asked me if I meant like with the weed comment.

I did not agonize. I did wonder what she got paranoid about, though.
