No-nonsense approach to life and looking inward instead of blaming others and taking charge of your own life is sometimes the only key to live a more authentic and satisfying life overall. Just my take on it.

One of her quotes: “It doesn't matter how we were raised. We become the person we choose to be.” Well of course it’s matter how we were raised, but we still have a choice to be either a mopying helpless victim or to take charge of our lives despite challenges. Second option brings more happiness to our lives, so I agree with her
