I’m familiar with her show and I think she does a lot of damage with her “advice.” She’s homophobic, sexist, and racist and forces very conservative, neoliberal views on all callers in a “one size fits all” manner. I remember listening to her show as a teenager and hearing the vile things she said to a young, gay caller. It made me stay in the closet longer because I feared other adults saying those hateful things about me. She also has no cultural competence whatsoever when it comes to race, poverty, etc.
