Yep. Sit tight. You've done what you are required to do - reporting it to SCAN. Let them take control of the situation now and just do your best to ignore your bad neighbor. I lived in a neighborhood by a public park and the city police used my apt bldg's steps to sit their perps on, handcuffed. It was very shocking to see when I'd come home from grad school night classes, criminals handcuffed on my bldg's front steps, and police officers radioing for backup or whatever. That's the vibe of that neighborhood - high crime - despite being located next to a beautiful public park. I put up with that and more for 3 years; gangs shooting at each other, peeing on my bldg, keying our cars, beating each other up. It was stressful but b/c the rent was cheap and I was a grad student I put up with it. Glad i moved out of that neighborhood years ago. If you love your neighborhood and don't want to move, sit tight and be patient. But if can afford to move out of that area, then go for it.
