It helps that you want to be healthy. You sound like you would be willing to make changes if recommended. Some people do get addicted to exercise and dieting. If you think that you might have a problem, you should check with your doctor. If it is starting to be a problem, I think you can beat it because you are open to feedback and willing to change.
