Has anyone known anyone who allowed others to do something but they don't like it when you do the same thing? For example, I have a coworker at work who allows others to talk to her even if she is doing something. Yet, if I do the same thing, she tells me to leave or is very short. I don't talk very much at work due to being isolated but I know that I'm really there to just work and make money. Just don't get why coworkers can be that way. I also knew people in the past who would allow others to make a joke but if I did then they would tell me to not do that again. Same goes for doing something in a more fast and effective way, even outside of work. Someone could find a new way of doing something and everyone loves it, even me. So others will start to do the same thing, but then if I start to do it, I get weird looks. Anyone get why this happens at times? Just confusing and weird. Always wondered if it was a popularity thing or if it meant they didn't like me.
