I'm not much into "shoulds" about other people's attire. I have my personal druthers, and perhaps even I'd be turned off by the attire of a therapist perhaps, but that doesn't mean the therapist "should" dress any differently for me. That means I would probably need to find a different therapist who fit my personal druthers. I've never personally run into a therapist whose attire even crossed my mind as an issue though, so I'm not even certain what that line of "Nope. Can't look at that and bare my soul" is. LOL.

I'm assuming therapists who work for a larger organization probably have some sort a dress code agreed to by their larger employer. Those in independent practice can dress as they wish.
