I’m not very kind to myself

My inner snake is relentless in her cruelty towards me and her harsh criticisms of me. She attacks me furiously for every little mistake I’ve ever made. She takes a mistake and makes it into a crime punishable by something horrible by a judge and jury who want me to suffer and be punished all my life.

It’s scary and icy cold in this prison

I wish I could find some comfort in this inner prison. My inner snake wants me to feel even more pain
