I think it’s important to find a compromise. First of all I’m in a relationship where the sex is infrequent. This causes me a lot of frustration and exhaustion in trying to control my sexual desire. Whenever I bring the lack of intimacy with my fiancée she has a tendency to shrug it off like some trivial matter. Which hurts me greatly and causes me to resent her.

I would say that when one partner has a high sex drive and the other does not this can cause a disaster. Not saying it will, but it’ll put strain on the relationship. There have been several times where I have thought about leaving my fiancée due to our incompatible sex drives. But through talking and finding a happy medium we worked through it.

Just don’t treat it as a trivial matter, because it can ruin your relationship.
