I felt the same when I moved to Cyprus last year, I had absolutely nobody since everybody I knew lived in England! But I quickly learnt that - even though I would rather be around others - holidays werent so bad after all as I used them for some 'me' time, everybody needs me time now and again! It can be good to be alone sometimes...
