I agree that it could be depression with psychotic symptoms or even schizophrenia but before going that route, what meds do you take? I know when I would be late or miss my Effexor I would get strange sensations and noises in my head - I could hear my eyes move and would work at making them not move because the sound sensation made me dizzy and nauseous. Once I took the dose of Effexor it ususally went away in an hour or two. So, long story short, look at side effects of your meds before you worry about a worse disease.
