I think we do have to be proactive and watch out for our own health. You are doing great to be questioning your healthcare and being an advocate for yourself. Even if you are not overmedicated, it is good to ask the question and reassure yourself that all your meds are needed. And if it turns out you don't need some, you can ask your docs for advice on how to tail off those. If you are scared to talk to your pdoc, can you ask the first doc to call him (the one who recommended decreasing ambien and tramadol)? Good luck with this jbug.
