Hi and welcome. I am learning (slowly) that whenever I feel dissociated and spacey the first and only thing I need to do is work on grounding skills. It's a bit hard to remember to do that because growing up with DID the spacey dissociated state is pretty much the norm. I have to work on reminding myself it doesn't have to be that way.
Do you have a set of grounding skills that work best for you? Sometimes having them written down can help as a reminder.
