I just ran to the vet to have the quantitative test taken. It tests the level of infection and for the million other tick borne illnesses. Just in case he has something else too. I won’t hear anything back until Saturday.
I’m so sad. He was tested and vaccinated against Lyme last year and has been wearing the Soresto collar since. He is literally afraid to be outside. He spends maybe 10 minutes outside a day. Seriously he does his thing and bolts back to the door.
I’m sick with the feels.

sorry to hear about that. I too don't know what lyme disease is but know it can get it through ticks. Hope it's not fatal or anything like that an manageable.
