If a properly executed subpoena or court order is made to us regarding a member's account, we are required by law to abide by such orders (and would do so). We would also publicize the fact that we had to release such information against our wishes to protect members' privacy.

However, in the 24 years I've been running Psych Central and the 18 we've been running these forums, no such subpoena or court order has ever been served on us for any information whatsoever. While it *could* happen, given the history, the chances of it happening are incredibly low.
