thanks guys

I'm not taking any med as far as my depression and anxiety is concerned... I REALLY don't want to from past experience and my age and such... also not very good at taking tablets (developed a bit of a phobia because I've had to take so much stuff and it hasn't seemed to help, get really anxious when I do)... other than that I'm just taking birth control.
I know that the voices and noises and sights I hear and see aren't real... but they're more 'in' my head... it's not like the voices are as clear as normal voices although it is still distressing. It's normally fast bickering.
I'm currently STILL on a waiting list to see another councillor, but I'll speak to them when I get an appointment.
nowheretorun... thanks for the link, just done a bit of research and disregarding images I may talk to my doctor about Tinnitus.

"Tinnitus is not itself a disease but a symptom resulting from a range of underlying causes, including ear infections, foreign objects or wax in the ear, and injury from loud noises. Tinnitus is also a side-effect of some oral medications, such as aspirin, and may also result from an abnormally low level of serotonin activity."

I have had reoccurring ear infections since I was really young... and it also says it can be linked to serotonin levels, depression.
I will talk to my doc about it and also my councillor when I see them, thanks everyone
