Asheville is small but cosmopolitan and progressive town at the foot hills of the North Carolina blue ridge mountains. Attractions include the famous Biltmore House, a gigantic mansion built in the late 1800's by railroad magnate Corneleous Vanderbuilt. The grounds arround it boast spectacular flower gardens in the spring. There is also a working winery there. If you are here in the fall, the blue ridge parkway nearby offers some truly magnificent scenery with the changing of the leaves. There is also the famous Blowing Rock, Mile-high swinging bridge, and of course the Cherokee Indian reservation. Anyway let us know what you decide
