I would start with UBC foreign students program. This will outline pretty much everything you will need to know. Then look up Visa requirements on the Canadian government websites.
One thing you will need to know is that as a foreign student, you will be paying a ridiculously inflated tuition (ball park 3X the regular tuition) at any Canadian university.
I just checked the website for UBC . While the example is for a post graduate degree, this pretty much says it all:
"Tuition fees and student fees are set by the University.... and are subject to change. For September 2019, tuition for a Master's degree program is expected to be approximately $4,995.79 per year for Canadian citizens and permanent residents, and $23,460.00 per year for international students."
