You know when you are in therapy, specifies the problems and the talking doesn't help, one has to sit down and find a way to help oneself. So I did many years ago. That doesn't mean that the talking-therapy wasn't helpful, only that the therapist did not have tools for the most fragile parts of me. I am still grateful for the therapists emotional support at that time.
It took a long time with trying and failing. I think that many people give up when they don't get exactly the help they want. I started instead to look for
when (it happens) and
what to do about it.
That's why I have some notes about what to do in situations that usually triggers this fragile inside of me.
This time I forgot to prepare for the days after a happy event.
In my notes I have written not only what to do, but the notes are also full of supportive and affirmative words (from my better self to the part of myself that doesn't cope so well).
