Do you try to show respect even to those who you feel have been disrespectful to you?

Personally I prefer it if someone tells me if I’ve said or done something they don’t like.. I would then have an opportunity to apologise and to maybe explain and maybe not to make the same mistake again

But then some people “just don’t get on” and sometimes that isn’t likely to change ..

I didn’t fit the “requirements” of the maternal unit

Maybe she would have been better served by buying a plastic doll than having a baby

At work I’ve had people saying catty things behind my back.. I guess human nature (or some people’s nature) likely won’t change ...

Since my parental units didn’t respect me or care about me I’m a work in progress

It saddens me... well all sorts of things sadden me ...

None of us are perfect.

We can't always know what may trigger another person.

It is kinder to find a place of mutual respect even if that is to agree to disagree.

Repeated attacks after having communicated your feelings don't allow a lot of space for harmony....

I would love a kind, loving assertive world.....
