However some people are scared off by other things, for example unkindness, whether explicit or thinly veiled. 
I hate to think of the number of “good” people who have likely left different websites which are for “support” due to less than kind behaviour from some. I have never seen you being at all unkind or judgmental. “Ramble” all you want... I’ve been accused of “whining” by some smart *** long ago.. (who left, this supportive forum likely didn’t “suit” them, they were a fly by poster giving me “advice” - not anyone who remotely knew me. Eff that it’s bull ****.

You don't need to be sorry for not being here. Nobody does. I understand it. We all have lives. We all need to eat. To sleep. Sometimes we go and do things. It's life. It's just - somehow - when I find myself needing help seems to coincide with the times most people are off doing one of those things.. and it really drives me nutty. I guess the best description would be if you were locked in a room with someone scraping their nails down a chalkboard constantly - for hours .. and nothing you did could stop the person from scraping. That's literally how frustrated I become .. on top of whatever issues I am having bc I dont have anyone in my offline life so this is really my only way of "speaking out".
You are such a sweet and kind and caring friend. I am really lucky to have you as a friend.
