When I think of spring cleaning I think of nitty gritty cleaning, not mess clearing. I'm not 100% sure if you've still got messes bothering you. If so, superficially make things look good first, then concentrate on the details.
When we have guests coming, I find myself doing the "make everything look good" part and my husband wastes time on a project that no one will really notice. What he does is great, but not as the big picture task to be done. If it takes hiding dirty pans in the oven and kicking stuff in a closet and shutting the door at first, consider doing that. Then perhaps open the oven and cleaning the pans, then the oven. Then opening the closet and organizing the mess in there.
I recently cleaned my pantry and replaced the contact paper on the shelves. That did make a mess while being done, but the rest of the house looked passably fine in the meantime. One nitty gritty project at a time.
