in certain states 5 hrs does not entitle you to a lunch break, (unpaid) it does give you one 10 minute (paid) break....but that said check on your state laws. she may not let you sit at your desk to do phone calls etc...it might be a matter of how much you value employment to work there over quitting and being unemployed until you find something else.

if the pay is good (regardless of the issues) then there is a decision to be made...the conditions may be crummy but let's face it it's work, not a play date etc. work is nice if it could be totally enjoyable but each job not matter where has some drawbacks.

make a list good vs bad..and then make a decision you can live with. you know what you have there, remember it might just be worse someplace else.
