when my kids were young and before I was diagnosed I would get hypomanic just looking at their rooms. my wife would yell at me for clearing out stuff they still used. these days when I'm hypomanic, I tend to re-organize everything over and over again until they look exactly the same way when I started. I do have a routine for cleaning but when hypomanic, I have to be more mindful when I can or I'll throw out our furniture if no one is looking. that would really land me in hot water.
