hi everyone. well, I got a call from my GP today and she said all of my lab work came in. seems like my norepinephrine levels are high and she wants me to get a CT scan done followed by an appt with an Endo. she suspects I may have a Pheochromocytoma that is secreting the hormone that is spiking my blood pressure and can even be causing my anxiety. just waiting on my insurance company to approve the CT scan then I'm on my way.

I'm trying very hard to keep it all together. if it isn't one thing it's another. I just came off of a very bad mixed episode and I don't really need this right now. but it is what it is and I'm doing some mindfulness and using my coping skills to keep myself balanced. I do look at everything as a catastrophe and I've been trying to change how I perceive things lately. my new GP is being very thorough and re-assuring. I am grateful to have her. plus, she said most of these cytomas are benign anyway. and they have meds they can put me on. well, that's about it. just checking in. hope everyone is doing ok!
