I think you're doing a nice job rolling with it especially since you are just coming out of your mixed state. You got this!
Assuming your GP is correct on the cause, I wonder if this thing contributed to your mixed state. I asked my pdoc at my last appointment what might have caused my last episode and she mentioned adrenal issues can cause mania and psychosis. I need to follow up with a GP. I have a phobia of doctors after a very unfortunate misdiagnosis incident and I haven't had a physical in a while.
I wish you all the best. Keep us posted.

Thanks fern46! my wife has some adrenal issues so I knew some of the terminology, but I didn't know what a P.cytoma was either and that it can contribute to certain aspects of mania, high BP, panic and anxiety attacks. who knew?
the increase in the norepinephrine may have also been the root cause all this time with my mixed states and mood swings. adrenal issues can wreak havoc on people who have to deal with it.
I will keep everyone posted and I'm hoping to get in to see someone for my CT scan sooner rather than later.
like always, thank you for the kind words and support, fern46! it is always appreciated. I do "got this"
