They say photos show more how others see you. I hate what I look like in photos, with only the occasional exception. And yet a photo I see as an ugly one of me my husband often says is lovely. Ones I like of myself my husband doesn't like as much. It's a common occurrence. You can find several articles discussing this topic. It becomes a matter of perception.
