great question Fuzzybear. I definitely have an "inner snake" (gotta admit, I've never heard that expression before), I usually lash out at myself especially during mixed states like the one I'm coming down from now. I also lash out at those who are trying to help me, too. at times, under wrong assumptions, I tend to criticize people who don't know what I'm going through with my mixed state/hypomania. sometimes I don't know how they put up with me when I get like that. but I am definitely my own worst critic. my inner dialog is mostly about how bad I'm feeling and that I deserve everything I feel no matter how negative it is. I'm working very hard to try to break that bad cycle of thinking, it isn't easy. but I'm trying at least. but, yes, I think this wouldn't be unheard of to happen to many during mixed states and eps.
hugs back!
