I've used low doses (30mg) of pharmaceutical ketamine every 1-2 weeks for 4 months.
It made me LOOK at my thoughts rather than to BE my thoughts. So all the things that I'd be upset about, I'd just laugh and not think it's a big deal. It's like someone else is depressed but I'm also that person at the same time so I can CHANGE my thoughts to more positive ones.
I believe the usage of ketamine has benefited me in the long term because even though it's been maybe 2-3 months since I've used it, I still feel less depressed. I feel better now that I know that something actually works very good for depression and that I'm not hopeless.
