My friend is getting married next month. I've spent months planning and purchasing items for her black-tie wedding. I already got a beautiful purple dress, and I've been buying some amethyst fine jewelry (through installment payments) for accessories. Next week I'll make the final payment and get my new ring.

I'm really excited to be going. I don't get to attend too many fancy events, so this is a great thing to look forward to.

Also, next week I'm seeing "Harlequinade" the ballet, and the week after that is "Whipped Cream" the ballet.
