It was just a med side effect and it's over and I'm relieved
But I have a lot of complicated feelings about the fact that it happened the week you were gone
I wanted to die and you weren't here.

I recognized it and took the steps I needed to take and handled it promptly and responsibly. And you'll be relieved to hear that.
But I could have used some comforting too.
Just because I wasn't going to act on it doesn't mean it wasn't upsetting. It sucked and I hated it. And I was on my own.
