An interesting article came into my email from bphope.com (affiliated with Bp Magazine) on impulsivity in people with bipolar disorder. In the email version, the following interesting statement appeared at the top:

Impulsivity is a common symptom of bipolar disorder, even outside of mania. Researchers are working to pinpoint why this predisposition toward rapid, unplanned reactions occurs."
