In one apartment the noise was over my bedroom...also sometimes the ceiling in there leaked with heavy rains...so I switched and made my living room my bedroom. This ended up being a great solution...as the living room was bigger and with a fireplace and high ceilings. And a lot of windows and light. I really enjoyed it as my bedroom.

Then...another noisy elephant moved in upstairs and for some reason made all the noise and stomping directly over my living room/bedroom.

Finally I moved. In the end...that's pretty much the only solution.

In the meantime, I still think getting out and exploring other places to hang out..is an option. I do think aside from the loud peep sex your situation sounds really ideal. I would like to find something like that. Stupid neighbors ruining it all for you.
