Exciting research is being conducted into gut health, inflammation and the link with mental health so certain probiotics DHA in fish oil and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate are all emerging supplements for mental health. Caffeine, alcohol and recreational drugs make things worse as does sleep disturbances so avoiding these things helps! HOWEVER, BP is a biological imbalance in the brain so currently meds are the best treatment!
