I don't like the sensation of ice and I think the injury is very deep inside so it would take a massive amount of icing I'm not set up to do at home and don't want to go to physio right now for it. Anyway the injury was on Sunday and it's more than 72 hours now. I took an ibuprofin on the 1st day after when I woke up the morning after it was really hurting.

The ibuprofin didn't make any difference to the pain level.

I think the main thing is not to reinjure it again and not to fall.
