I have a real self esteem issue when it comes to the time it takes me to complete exams. I have to utilize disability support services on campus for extra test time. I feel like it's an unfair advantage for me over other students.
is adhd linked to slow thinking? I tend to get stuck on a problem and keep re thinking it. I also read and think slow. I have to take extra time on questions that involve positive and negative, increase, decrease left and right.
i scored an A in general chemistry 1 and 2 but can't seem to take more than one hard class per semester in college.
is it the ADHD medication and/or the SSRI slowing me down? I was slow before ADHD medication.
is this what they mean when they say "your slow" referring to IQ? i score average to a hairline above average on IQ tests.
How can I increase my speed so I can take the exams with everyone else and not have to sit in the special room?
