If you qualify for disability services you should use them and do not worry about what other students do or that you may be having some kind of unfair advantage. All you are "getting" is a level playing field.

is adhd linked to slow thinking? I tend to get stuck on a problem and keep re thinking it. I also read and think slow. I have to take extra time on questions that involve positive and negative, increase, decrease left and right.
Adhd can be comorbid with other learning issues. Have you ever been tested for anything? Adhd can also affect your focus, and hyperfocus so that you can become hung up on certain things and have trouble switching gears.

is it the ADHD medication and/or the SSRI slowing me down? I was slow before ADHD medication.

is this what they mean when they say "your slow" referring to IQ? i score average to a hairline above average on IQ tests.
Medication doesnt slow you down like that. It helps you focus but it doesnt make your speed slow. I do not put any stock in IQ tests. If you are not a good test taker then you will do poorly.
