Sounds tough

I am lucky that I was not homeless and got a lot of support but I hope you get a good therapist who can help you prioritize. When you hit rock bottom, you usually didn't land there overnight and will not come back in a day. Baby steps. Then you can build on it. That I was able to get disability for a couple of years gave me some time help that was an important part of my recovery.

Be gentle on yourself and read alot, consult a lot, really think about how to build a plan that might realistically get you into shelter, etc. Think about your weaknesses and be mindful that old habits sometimes die hard but getting ourself in a tough spot can motivate us to change. I have change a little, not drastically, but I have and also recognize when I am following into some of my nonhelpful patterns. It's not a straight path because life is complex when you have kids, work, a spouse/ex but you can improve. We can turn our shame (I do not know if you are ashamed, I was) into pride about being disciplined about making positive changes. Good habits can pay off and you can come back!
