I understand what you are saying.

Personally I have no bitterness, anger or regrets over whatever happened in the past. I believe living in regrets puts one in a victim’s mode. And I refuse to be a victim. I made mistakes too and some are related to finances including being scammed. But I don’t tend to ruminate or agonize over the past. We only have one life to live and it’s quite short so I intend to enjoy the heck out of it while I can.

All you can do is learn the lesson and be more savvy and move on with your life.

I’d also look at ways to improve your life financially or otherwise so you look forward rather than backwards. Better paid job. Second job. Better friends. Nicer place to live Etc
