I hope not, but I guess I'll find out. I also take Lamictal, Buspar, and Klonopin. And a statin, 2 high blood pressure meds, and 2 asthma inhalers. That's 12 pills a day, plus inhalers. No wonder I get side effects. Hope this makes sense. Abilify fried my brain for about a week when I increased it to 10 mg. I didn't even know what month it was. It's coming back now, thankfully.

Risperdal is my mainstay antipsychotic. I take 8 mg at night and 2 mg in the morning. We tried all the typical antipsychotics, trilafon, Haldol, thorazene as well as Zyprexa and Seroquel. All of them failed miserably. Haldol was like taking sugar pills. Risperdal has been a godsend for me. It also has anti-mania properties. I'm on a max-out dose so that scares me. There's no room for me to increase for a break-through psychotic episode. He's added Seroquel as a back-up. I like Seroquel because it makes me sleep. That's not it's intent, but its a great effect. I'm on a low dose so other than drowsiness, it doesn't effect me.
