I’ve always had a hard time opening up to my therapist. I try to express the depth of what I’m feeling and how awful I truly feel. I just don’t feel like I do a good job at expressing what is wrong with me enough for her to understand. On the other side, I am high functioning, have a job, get good grades etc. this makes me feel like my therapist overlooks my problem as well because of this. I have also brought up my concern with BPD and mentioned all the symptoms that I show, but I don’t feel as though she even looked into it. Any suggestions on how to tell my therapist how I’m truly feeling? And any suggestions on how to bring BPD concerns back up with her?
