Your stepmonster sounds a lot like mine. Visiting someone who makes it clear you are not welcome is unnerving. In the end they would only visit me if they were already in the area shopping.

Funny how her daughter was welcome anytime and they saw her 4 times a week. I wasn't jealous at all because the visits were not enjoyable.

It's not a problem for me now as I ended up going no contact with them both due to far worse acts of abuse and gaslighting.
