Hi, Christine and welcome to Psych Central! I used to have BPD, but found a different kind of therapy to be helpful (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)--and working though my anger toward my parents.

I'm sorry you had a bum therapist and am glad you're seeing your way past her. It takes skill to deal with folks with BPD and evidently she wasn't good at it.
