On topic: I had a lot of people who were concerned about my emotional volatility. I felt they were trying to peg me so they can write me off or keep me down. I’ve been reprimanded a couple of times for not completing things I thought were complete because with hypomania I thought I did things quicker. I seemed to be full of myself a lot. And my boss had to know everything I was doing. I’m amazed I did well in the military! For a long time I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder.

After my breakdown I was put on long term disability. Other than my husband, daughter, and health professionals no one has checked on me irl. About a year later, with two manic episodes, I was diagnosed with bipolar 1.
