My therapist has assured me that I will know when it’s time to be done.
And she’s right. I am not done, but my goals and work in therapy have shifted, and I can see that I will be ready to shift out of therapy as I work through some last bits and bobs. She’s stuck with me for a while longer, but (the key, I think) I feel ready for that and trust that I will know when the time comes.
