I’m doing ok. A little wound up, but ok.


Last night, there was a gas leak in my parents’ house, and my mom TURNED OFF the carbon monoxide alarm. I said, “mom, you CAN’T ignore that!” I was on the phone with her at the time and told her to call 911 and leave the house.


Thankfully my sister called my dad, who came home and called 911 for the fire department to help investigate, because my mom was just gonna go upstairs for a nap. I wish I were joking!! My sister and I were on FaceTime with her later on and my sister kept pleading to her to go outside next time. I don’t think my mom realizes how fast carbon monoxide can kill you. Ugh.


The gas was turned off by the fire dept, and my dad called the emergency line for the gas company. What a mess... Makes me worry about my mom since she does these kinds of ridiculous things, and she’s not that old either. She should know better.
